An Apple a Day

ahhhh sale season.  I used to be such a pro at this.  I would know exactly which date things were going on sale, and had contact info for an SA at every major store.  If I wanted something, I would work tirelessly to get it- it was like a sport for me.  However, a few years ago when I decided to leave my job and go back to graduate school full-time (I've since finished), I had to stop shopping as obsessively.  Since then, sale seasons have come and gone.  While I still get a few things from my wish list, I don't have a mile-long list of shoes, and I don't have dates marked on my calendar for when things will be marked down.   


Some of the blogs I read are dedicated to talking about sales, which I've really come to love.  And now I even know when the sales are on sale.  Thanks to a blog I was reading the other day, I knew that J.Crew's sale was an additional percentage off, so I went there after work, and was able to get these apple-print shorts that I had been wanting for awhile, as well as some other cute things.  With the shorts, I chose to pair a striped blue top and chambray espadrilles.  What do you guys think of my pairing?
