Futuristic

You guys might be asking where my DIY is again this week.  I have to be honest in telling you that I think I'm going to take a different direction with this blog- that's not to say that I'm not going to do DIY's anymore- I definitely am- I just don't want to feel as though I have to get one done every Friday.  As you guys know, I love all kinds of fashion, from really girly kawaii styles to couture clean-cut looks.  And just as my fashion taste is varied, so is my life.  The M/W/F blog posting schedule has really been driving me nuts because I feel like blogging needs to be something more for me--I sometimes just want to share a random photo or discuss a new trend but feel like maybe I shouldn't because it's not a regular outfit post, DIY, or even the right day of the week.  However, I really want to look at my blog as not only a diary of my style, but as something more---a tool that I can use to document bits and pieces of other things that influence my style and life.  I think this will be a positive change and I hope you're excited as well.  Please feel free to follow me on Bloglovin' or subscribe to make sure you get all of my latest posts. :)

  3. You are looking very stylish and different in this look, I can see some Japanese as well as some futuristic influence here.
    I love the fact that you are venturing out in a new direction. I have been thinking a lot in this aspect too, about writing about my emotions,art,cooking, day to day life and not only fashion...and I have been doing that exactly...instead of catering to a particular section of reader, I write anything and everything nowadays. After all, we should be pleased and happy with our self first...that is so important...if you are happy and satisfied with what you are doing then it will reflect in your life apart from your blog/posts.
    Your blog should reflect the "real" you, the "essence" of you.
    So, all the best- do what you love and those who love what you write will stick by you and will come back to read. Count me one among them !

  6. oh my, how awesome is the hair chain!! :O I haven't seen anything like that before so definitely futuristic ;) like those crazy cool wedges and silver skirt.
    btw, I'm glad you liked my mint blouse :) and when it comes to blogging I think you should blog when you feel like it and about everything you want to. you should not feel the need pushing you back and making it even stressful. for instance I'm not a fan of blogs where new posts come up every single day. it's too much in my eyes. 1-3 times a week is normal though :P but that's just my opinion.

  7. Love this outfit a lot! Those shoes are awesome! I would think that weekly DIY's can get a bit overwhelming for you (although as a reader, I definitely love them), so I don't blame you for wanting to try something new. I'll still keep reading no matter what! :)

  35. Good for you! I say write whatever you want, whenever you want. Life is random and to be honest, the same repetitive schedule (like cupcakes and cashmere) gets a little boring sometimes. Can't wait for new and exciting things, though the odd diy would be nice too :P

    Thanks for writing that intro...I think sometimes in blogging we tie ourselves trying to fit a mold we created when we started but of course, the sign of growth and evolution is change...so it's totally okay for you to want to change things up on your blog.
    I personally love when I see bloggers sharing random bits of inspiration, creativity and/or life...because fashion is part of all of that.
    Don't worry about keeping a time schedule because then it's not authentic to you...when you do your next DYI it will be because you want to do, not because you had to ;)
    Btw, this outfit makes you look like a galactic Princess ;) I love that silver skirt!!
