Weekend Wedding Wear Part IV

When my bff, R, pulled out this handmade (by her aunt!) vintage dress after I first started blogging, we both joked that when I wore it on my blog, I would be able to call this my first c/o item.  At the time, we didn't know that my blog would grow so quickly and I would get other sponsors.  Regardless, it's the most meaningful thing I've ever been given because this dress is very personal to R.  I should note that this dress was given on an extended loan and will be given back to R one day :)  

Anyways, this weekend was a bit chilly and it was the perfect time to pull out the dress for a weekend wedding.  It's sequin details are even more stunning in person.  Did you guys have a great weekend?

When I noticed the details in that third picture, I was amazed to read that it was handmade, which makes it even more beautiful! I love dresses full of details, but more when it has a sentimental value and a such a sweet story behind it!

  60. Umm... can you please stop looking so amazing all the time! I almost bought the same Zara shoes, now why on earth did I put them back? I cannot believe your friend's aunt made that dress by hand. The detailing is incredible. I hope it's on a very very long extended loan. Love it!
