Birthday Wisdom

Yesterday was my birthday and with gaining a year of wisdom, I wanted to share a few things with you guys:
Number 1.  It's always good to register your email address with places...(I keep a separate email address for this purpose).  I got a free drink from Starbucks (hello, I earn one every 10 days anyways with the amount of money I spend there but free is free and I'll take an extra one any day!) and a coupon for free breadsticks from pizza hut (yes, I eat bad stuff like this! :).  I also got discount codes from various retailers that I love, like Anthro.  I'm totally filling up my cart this month and going nuts.
Number 2.  It's the simple things that really mean a lot on your birthday, like my husband booking a massage for me so he could attempt to shape one of our backyard shrubs into a Hello Kitty.  It didn't turn out so well, but his thought behind the idea was sweet.
Number 3.  The return of Pretty Little Liars was pretty much the best birthday gift, ever.  Did anyone else watch it?

  3. eek happy belated birthday!!!! and what a thoughtful hubby, definitely the thought that counts hahah!!!! and what a chic ensemble...i wish more people would wear slim filling turtle necks and cropped trousers because this is gorgeous :)

    black and red and leopard - that's an awesome trio. how cool is the bow belt btw! and when it comes to season premieres and stuff like that then I have episodes from PLL, The Lying Game, Switched at Birth, Bunheads and Snooki & JWoww waiting to be watched.     I also agree with registering your email at different places. Sephora sent me an email to get a free sample of Benefit mascara/highlighter- I just need to pick it up at the store...but knowing me, I'll probably forget!
