Gorgeous! I'm glad you are giving green a chance because it looks fabulous on you and as for followers, I'm definitely learning that the amount doesn't indicate the awesomeness of a blog...... The quality does!!!!!
ReplyDeleteBrooke @ what2wear
I definitely agree with you, Brooke!
DeleteBeautiful look! I love the skirt! ♥
ReplyDeleteYou look beautiful Allison! I LOVE that skirt. I love the color green, I always have, but I could never find enough stuff in the right shades. I hope I can add more green this year. Hope you have a great weekend, love ya! :)

THIS IS A GREAT COLOR ON YOU. i ACTUALLY AM NOT REALLY A FAN OF THE COLOR EITHER. BUT THEN AGAIN I WAS NEVER INTO BLUE AND NOW I AM OBSESSED SO THINGS COULD CHANGE. THOSE SHOES ARE FANTASTIC! ARE THEY REALLY UNCOMFORTABLE? EVERY TIME I HAVE TRIED HER SHOES ON THEY WERE EXTREMELY HARD TO WALK IN.
ReplyDeleteYOU ONLY WANT PEOPLE FOLLOWING THAT REALLY WANT TO BE ANYWAY...HOPE YOU SEE IT THAT WAY AND AREN'T OFFENDED!
HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND LOVE!

To be honest, the shoes aren't too comfortable! I can't wear them for many long hours, which sucks because I really like the way they look! :( And no, I'm not offended at all, I have to stay true to my blog! :)
DeleteLove the skirt and shoes, green looks good on you, i recently learnt that the GFC button is just for numbers, some people that follow you don't visit your blog at all, they just add up to the numbers,a nice blog don't need a lot of numbers or comment to be discovered:) Happy new year.

I agree, Joy! Happy new year to you as well!

Green is the Pantone colour of the year, isn't it? I bet we'll be seeing it everywhere soon so good on you for getting a headstart! I wish I could wear shoes like that too... I think the cut across the foot is so gorgeous but those styles always make my feet hurt!

I've heard that it is--Emerald Green! Such a pretty color!

Every time you shoot in front of this map, it makes me SO jealous of it – I really think a map wall is gonna be a pre-req for my next place of residence :) You look so pretty here – sort of laid-back ladylike, and I am loving green on you!

wow! in love with that top! and actually I saw something similar in an Estonian store called Monton. their tops had galaxy print and a wintry one, both really cool. I think I will check out that store when I have the chance someday :) anyway, I also like your diagonal skirt. such a special piece!
ReplyDeletetake care, A, and enjoy the weekend! :)

I also do not care too much for green. I think I own one green shirt? Some of it is because green dye is supposed to be extra bad for the environment...and some of it because I apparently can live without it. That skirt, though, is very sharp!
ReplyDeleteWow, I never knew that about green dye. Hmmm. I'll have to find out some more info on that!
DeleteI just realised that I don't wear enough green but I think it's one of those colours that look good on everyone men and women . your skirt is beautiful but that tee is just amazing!
ReplyDeletesorry to hear you lost followers- it's your personal space so no need to apologise for it . it's perfectly acceptable that you only contribute to blogs who contribute to you- I'm too sick of the "empty" comments you sometimes receive from people who quite clearly have not read the post you took so long to write
Thanks, Jodie! I definitely agree with you. :)

Oh Allison...am gonna steal your skirt and shoes! They're just too fab! And I love green on others (like you), but unfortunately, green is not a lucky colour for me so I don't have a lot of items in this colour:( It's kinda unfortunate considering emerald is the Pantone colour of the year...waaaaaah!
ReplyDeleteLove this top -- the scenic print on it is so gorgeous. And I think that green suits you really well. I'm glad you gave it another chance. Plus, isn't it supposed to be lucky? I'm not actually sure, but that sounds like it might be true :)

I've had a complicated relationship with green. During my early high school days, it was one of my favorite colors so I had obnoxious green... everything. Then I realized that wearing green actually made me look green due to my skintone; that was the end of green. I still really like green though and it doesn't help that one of the most awesome colors is forest green. I've been trying to go for darker tones, like in your shirt.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, that's such a nice outfit!
ReplyDeleteYour shoes are so great! <3
great look
ReplyDeletei like your stylE ! great blog ! Would you like to follow each other ?
ReplyDeleteYou need to wear green more often! It's perfect for you! I especially love that skirt and the bag! Green is one of my all-time favorite colors and I'm just subconsciously drawn to it. :)
ReplyDeleteI don't understand why you lost some followers because of your last post? You didn't say anything offensive or anything, you just stated the truth...
Thanks, Victoria! I don't know why either...I think people are sometimes really sensitive! :)

DeleteCan you please stop posting photos of that map wall! I'm super envious of it enough as it is. I think Pantonne just nominated Emerald as the colour of the year for 2013. Honestly I've always loved green, especially kelly green. I think you look great in it, the forest green really suits your complexion. Btw where is your watch from? I like it!

haha, it's one of the only places in our house that is pose-ready! And the watch is a company called Freelook. This one is a couple years old and is a man's watch. They have a lot of great ones!

Hey, are the shoes from L.A.M.B comfortable? I've been seeing it on quite a few bloggers.
Of course, I love your blog! And the shoes aren't the most comfortable, to be honest! I can't wear them for extended hours because they start to hurt :(

You always have amazing heels, and these are no exception, I swear the cut outs on the sides makes your legs look miles long. Sorry to hear that some peeps only wanted a comment for a comment, it's a common reoccurrence in the blogosphere. I'm totally into the emerald shade of green this year, especially for colored skinnies!
