Tied with a Bow

For those of you who follow me on Instagram, you saw that we had an art opening this weekend that I was beyond excited about.  For the past few months, we've been working hard on this show and this weekend was our opening with a public event on Saturday and a private reception on Sunday.  So, I had to try on a few things to come up with 2 different outfits.  Although below is not what I wore for either event, it was one of my options so we snapped a few photos wearing it.  In the end, I opted for outfits with sleeves because even though it's getting warmer in LA, I still didn't know if it was the best idea for a sleeveless dress.  I'm going to save this one for a summer opening. :)

  56. ¥ou look amazing Allison!! I've been off instagram lately so I missed the news about your opening. How was it? Did you get a huge turn out? I bet it was The event of the year. You know as soon as I saw this dress I thought to myself, gee it looks very Garance Dore-ish and then I scroll to the credits and was surprised to find that it was a Garance Dore piece for Kate Spade! Ahh I'm in love. She is such a talented illustrator, I love all the pieces she designed for Kate Spade. Anyway, I'm so glad to find out you're as much of book worm as I am. See I knew we were bloggy sisters from another mother haha.
