Sequins & Bows


You know what I enjoy doing?  Shopping in the kid's section for things that are on-trend but have just a bit more of a cutesy touch to them.  Take these sequin pants for example-- around October I started looking for a pair because at the time I was certain that I wanted to wear some for NYE.  Every pair I came across would fit weird or would be too overpriced for a single-wear pant.  THEN, I came across the this pair in the kid's section at Target.  With the right amount of bling, perfect stretch, and a price point at under $20, I was sold.
Are there any fun sections in stores that you guys enjoy shopping in?

  5. I LOVE this Allison! This is so Chanel with a twist..and I am not talking about your bag ;)That sweater is gorg and I love it with the sequined leggings. I know a lot of people that can get away with shopping in the kids section..love that line for my kids and apparently adults ;)

  12. Oh my gosh, this is seriously the best black and white outfit I've ever seen! That sweater is adorable and it looks so chic paired with the sequin pants. Who knew they would be from the kids section! Hahah now I can literally dress in the same outfit as my kids and leave them scarred for life.

  16. Allison, I've shopped a lot at the Target kids' section! I'm not the tallest person (ahem), and the kids' jeans fit me better sometimes. And you're right...they're better priced some days!

  19. well, children's section and men's section, I have found stuff from both :P I think it doesn't really matter where do we get our clothes from when we love what we have found. oh and your outfit is such a cute one. that sweater looks pretty amazing :) and those pants DO look really comfy! nice choice!

  35. I am so loving all the sparkle and the adorable bows! You look so amazing in this outfit Allison. You look like a million bucks! Best part is that you got a deal with your pants :) I like shopping in the kids section for shoes. I'm a size 5-1/2 so it's not always easy finding shoes that fit.

  37. This is a really cute outfit! I love the blazer. I'm only 13 but I don't shop in the kids sections. However I do still fit and so I can find some amazi bargains. Like these red trousers were £22 adult sections £12 kids! Such a good tip :)
